Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina Welcomes Dr. Fallon McIver Brewington as New Chief Executive Officer
Sanford, NC – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina (BGCCC) is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Fallon McIver Brewington as its new Chief Executive Officer. A visionary leader with a strong background in youth development, nonprofit management, and workforce education, Dr. Brewington will guide the organization’s efforts to empower and inspire young people across Chatham, Lee, and Harnett Counties.
“I am thrilled to return to the Boys & Girls Club movement, especially to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina, where the commitment to empowering youth and strengthening communities is deeply rooted,” said Dr. Brewington. “With my background in nonprofit leadership, workforce development, and education, I am uniquely prepared to help develop and support our bold new ‘Future Ready’ vision. I look forward to working closely with the incredible staff, board, and partners across Central Carolina to expand opportunities for our youth, ensuring they have the tools and experiences needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Together, we will amplify our collective impact and continue creating safe, transformative spaces for the children and teens who need us most.”
Dr. Brewington brings extensive experience to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina. She currently serves as Vice President of Workforce Development & Corporate Partnerships at Sandhills Community College. Previously, she was the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills and boasts over 20 years of leadership across public, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. Dr. Brewington holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership in Adult and Community College Education from NC State University, along with a Master of Science in Vocational Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from East Carolina University and North Carolina State University, respectively.

Her leadership will bring a positive impact on our youth and communities.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina currently serves over 1,100 youth annually through programs focused on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. With Dr. Brewington’s leadership, the organization is poised to deepen its impact and expand its reach within the communities it serves.
