Volunteer

Volunteer with BGCCC
No matter your skills or interests, there is a volunteer opportunity for you at one of our Boys & Girls Clubs. Want to inspire youth by sharing your success story? Want to mentor youth with homework help? Interested in assisting with athletic programs? Are you available once a month or every day? If you have a passion for impacting youth, we have a way for you to do just that.

Youth Development Volunteers:
Our Youth Development Volunteers assist at the Club on a regular basis by working directly with youth in one of the program areas.  These volunteers typically visit the Club weekly for about 2 hours and are asked for a minimum of a 3-month commitment.  Onboarding requirements include completing the volunteer application, submitting information for a background check, and participating in an orientation process.

Mentors:
Mentors make lasting impacts on Boys & Girls Club youth by working individually with assigned members on a weekly basis.  Through this weekly mentorship session, Mentors will work with staff to engage youth in activities to ensure academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles.  Mentor volunteers are asked for a one-year commitment and will complete an onboarding process that includes an application, reference checks, background and fingerprint checks, and an orientation process.

Special Event or Group Volunteers
Small or large groups are welcome at the Club to assist with special events, and projects, or to make presentations to the youth.  All group visits must be planned in advance and all participants will be required to review and sign a Special Event Volunteer Agreement.
