Sanford, NC – Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina to kick off the 2025 Summer Meals Program, which provides free, nutritious meals to all children and teens ages 18 and under at open sites across Lee, Harnett, and Chatham Counties.

In partnership with the NC Department of Public Instruction and No Kid Hungry North Carolina, the Clubs are working to connect more youth to this essential summer nutrition program by raising awareness and increasing accessibility for families across the region.

“Summer should be a time of fun, learning, and connection—not hunger,” said Dr. Fallon Brewington, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina. “Our summer meals program provides dependable access to healthy meals for kids who rely on school-year nutrition.”

Additionally, free summer meals are also being served in Pittsboro and Siler City through a continued partnership with Chatham County Schools. Families in Chatham County are encouraged to check with local school officials or visit https://summermeals4nckids.org for details on site locations and meal times.
